Pavel Janda

I am an assistant professor (adiunkt) at the Chair of Logic, Philosophy of Science and Epistemology at Gdańsk University and a research assistant at the Czech Academy of Sciences. I received a PhD in philosophy from the University of Bristol
in 2018.

I work mainly in (formal) epistemology with the focus on accuracy-first epistemology, decision theory, philosophy of probability/statistics, and economics.  

 

My other interests include coffee, history of art, mathematics, and colourful socks from Sock Bards of Ponožkovice (my brother's company).
